Enjoy a fun-filled evening with family and friends - see student displays and demonstrations, and a touring science show.
Ways to participate
Science Project
Explore a science topic on your own or as a team (limit 3 students) - or as a class or as a family. Ten fourth and fifth grade projects will be eligible to compete county-wide in the Dr. Jonas Salk Science Fair on March 10, 2006.

Create an invention to solve one of the problems below...Prizes awarded for the best invention in each category.

Can you achieve this elusive goal? Prize to the longest-running machine. |
Demonstration
What is it? How does it work? Create a presentation that demonstrates something interesting.
Poster
Create a poster about science, discovery, or invention. Why do you think science is important to you? What experiments would you do if you were Jimmy Neutron? Let your creativity run with it - have your poster done one week before the fair so that it can be displayed. Prizes will be awarded.
